Poetry by Tracy Marks

I sprawl, reflecting.
A neighbor's pup is curled against my half-bent legs,
entreating me.
My patient fingers pluck and gather
carpet fuzz, caressingly.
A window's open. Breezes rock
the branches of a sunlit tree.
Touch me.
Touch me.
Touch
Me.
